| LATTER-DAY SAINT - ARE YOU AN APOSTATE? An apostate is "one who forsakes his faith or principles" (American Heritage Dictionary, 1971). Every member in good standing in today's Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is an apostate! This is because today's LDS Church has forsaken the "principles", "faith" and commandments restored to earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. LDS members believe that they are absolved from any personal accountability for their actions as long as they follow a man they consider a prophet. "Brethren, keep your eye on the President of this Church. If he tells you to do anything and it is wrong and you do it, the Lord will bless you for it." (Heber J. Grant & Harold B. Lee, Ensign, Oct. 1972; 95 Theses, Kraut, p.12) "With warnings and safeguards such as the Lord provides, need anyone be deceived? If we follow the president of the Church, we need never go astray." (Church News, Aug. 17, 1974, p.16; 95 Theses, Kraut, p.13) "When our leaders speak, the thinking has been done. When they propose a plan, it is God's plan." (June 1945 Ward Teaching Lesson; 95 Theses, Kraut, p.17) This abominable doctrine of infallibility has crept into the church, contrary to the word and will of God. "34. O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm." (2 Nephi 4:34; see also 28:31,32) and... "that every man may be accountable for his own sins in the day of judgment." (D&C 101:78). The Lord never guaranteed that He would remove an errant or fallen president ("prophet"); the Lord gave this responsibility to the church priesthood (D&C 107:81-84). The Lord warned that if the "several quorums" do not check or stop an errant first presidency or first president, He would allow "the prophet" to lead the church astray! "32. And in case that any decision of these quorums [3,12,70] is made in unrighteousness, it may be brought before a general assembly of the several quorums, which constitute the spiritual authorities of the church; otherwise there can be no appeal from their decision." (D&C 107:32) "10. I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise." (D&C 32:10) The LDS also believe that they are infallible because the priesthood was restored for the last time (D&C 13; 112:15,32) and they erroneously conclude that no priesthood can exist outside of their church, even if they disobey God and fall away; thus the LDS Church has tried to bind the Lord to obey their false prophets, whom they have refused to cast out. "46. And if thine eye [LDS prophet] which seeth for thee, him that is appointed to watch over thee to show thee light, become a transgressor and offend thee, pluck him out." (Mark 9:46, JST) The LDS were repeatedly warned that they too could "fall away", apostatize and be destroyed. The Book of Mormon (title page) and also Joseph Smith referred to the LDS as "gentiles" (D&C 109:60). "35. Wherefore, I know by this thing which thou hast said, that if the Gentiles have not charity, because of our weakness, that thou wilt prove them, and take away their talent, yea, even that which they have received, and give unto them who shall have more abundantly." (Ether 12:35) "10. That inasmuch as ye do this, glory shall be added to the kingdom which ye have received. Inasmuch as ye do it not, it shall be taken, even that which ye have received." (D&C 43:10) "63. Wherefore, let the church repent of their sins, and I, the Lord, will own them; otherwise they shall be cut off." (D&C 63:63) "15. For if ye will not abide in my covenant ye are not worthy of me." (D&C 98:15) "...for if Zion will not purify herself, so as to be approved of in all things, in His sight, He will seek another people; for His work will go on until Israel is gathered..." (TPJS p.18) D&C 38:39 "...but beware of pride lest ye become as the Nephites of old." The Nephite saints became wealthy, proud, quit living consecration, fell into apostasy, were taken over by the Gadiantons (the 'New World Order' of their time) and were annihilated! Joseph Fielding Smith said that it is the Latter-day Saints who "have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinances, and broken the everlasting covenant," because they were the only ones who had them to begin with. (Deseret News, Oct. 17, 1936; 95 Theses, 1994 edition, Kraut, p.186) The Lord's warning to the gentile LDS that they could fall and be destroyed was not idle because He had already prophesied in the Book of Mormon and Bible that the LDS would "fall away"; would become an "abomination"; would "sin against [the] gospel." "5. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left." (Isaiah 24:5,6) "28. And when the times of the Gentiles is come in, a light shall break forth among them that sit in darkness, and it shall be the fulness of my gospel. 29. But they receive it not; for they perceive not the light, and they turn their hearts from me because of the precepts of men. 30. And in that generation shall the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." (Jesus Christ, D&C 45:28-30) "10. And thus commandeth the Father that I should say unto you: At that day when the Gentiles shall sin against my gospel, and shall reject the fulness of my gospel, and shall be lifted up in the pride of their hearts above all nations, and above all the people of the whole earth, and shall be filled with all manner of lyings, and of deceits, and of mischiefs, and all manner of hypocrisy, and whoredoms, and of secret abominations; and if they shall do those things, and shall reject the fulness of my gospel, behold, saith the Father, I will bring the fulness of my gospel from among them." (Jesus Christ, 3 Nephi 16:10) Non-LDS gentiles did not "sin against my gospel" by rejecting the LDS Church, because the Church is baptizing them in droves! It is the LDS who "turn their hearts from (God)" and who receive not "the fullness of the gospel". It is the LDS who do not obey the fulness of the gospel nor keep all the commandments. Within one generation (100 years, 3 Nephi 27:32; Mormon 8:6) of 1830, the times of the gentiles were fulfilled with the issuance and acceptance of the 1890 Manifesto which supposedly stopped plural marriage. Moroni foresaw the latter-day gentiles who would read his words (The Book of Mormon) including and especially the LDS. "37. For behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted. 38. O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers, who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness than that misery which never dies-because of the praise of the world?" (Mormon 8:37-38, see also 2 Nephi 28:9-18) The LDS Church was the "holy church of God" among the Gentiles and it is "polluted" or defiled by false doctrine, greed and abomination. "2...that the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." (2 Thess. 2:2-4) Like Cain and Judas, the latter-day "son of perdition" will have a high priesthood position. He will sit in God's temple; defiling it with the doctrine of infallibility; making himself God (see 2 Thess. 2:11,12; D&C 56:15). |

You excuse yourselves in transgressing this law because Joseph Smith temporarily stopped bringing members to trial for disobedience because the Church was then attempting to obtain redress for the Missouri thefts and persecutions (D.H.C. IV p.93). 3. The Gathering of Israel "11. After this vision closed, the heavens were again opened unto us; and Moses appeared before us, and committed unto us the keys of the gathering of Israel from the four parts of the earth, and the leading of the ten tribes from the land of the north." Wherefore the decree hath gone forth from the Father that they shall be gathered in unto one place upon the face of this land, to prepare their hearts and be prepared in all things against the day when tribulation and desolation are sent forth upon the wicked." Temple Endowment In April 1990 your false prophets made major changes and deletions in the temple endowment and you did nothing; the five points of fellowship were removed; the penalties for divulging names, signs and tokens were removed; the woman's oath of obedience to her husband was removed. The 'oath of vengeance' and the Adam-God doctrine (given at the dissertation of the veil) were both removed from the endowment at the end of the last century. Merely believing Adam/God is now grounds for excommunication. Brigham Young said, "I tell you more, Adam is the father of our spirits". (Oct. 8, 1854 Church conference); "He is Michael, the Archangel, the Ancient of Days; about whom holy men have written and spoken - He is our Father and our God, and the only God with whom we have to do." (J.D. 1:50, April 9, 1852). The temple garment has been so modified and improperly worn, that the knee mark on the popular two-piece garment is often positioned about mid-thigh to facilitate 'shorts' and short skirts. 2. Priesthood Offices have been created and dissolved since 1890 without revelation; assistant to the twelve, regional representative, area authority and area president are not mentioned in revelation. The office of Patriarch to the church once held by Joseph Smith, Sr., and Hyrum Smith has been eliminated. Seventy are now taken from among the High Priests; this was never to occur (TPJS, p.112; C.H.C. 6:105). "Standing ministers" (Elder) now travel and "traveling ministers" (Apostle, Seventy) now reside in the "center stake" thus confusing priesthood government. (D&C 41:1) The decision to "ordain" Negroes was not of God because it violated God's law of "common consent" (D&C 28:12,13; 26:2) and it is contrary to the revealed word of God. You LDS have allowed your leaders to bring a curse and destruction upon you. "21. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day [the millennium] there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts." (Zech. 14:21) "7. ...the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink [pride, Isaiah 28:1, 29:9], they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment." Second anointings are no longer performed in the temples nor is the law of adoption (sealing men in a patriarchal chain); even if these were performed, they would be a fraud like every other action taken by the LDS Church from the 1890 Manifesto until this day. CONCLUSION You LDS think that the "false prophets" Christ warned about are only in Colorado City, Manti, Mexico or Bluffdale, yet the "strong delusion" is such that the latter-day "false prophets" shall "deceive many" (Matt. 24:11) ...ten million and counting! Your LDS "prophets" have seen no vision nor had any revelation since prior to the 1890 Manifesto. "20. ...in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. 21. I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings." (Jeremiah 23:20-22) "42. And Jesus said unto them, When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? 43. They say unto him, He will destroy those miserable, wicked men, and will let out the vineyard unto other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons." (Matt. 21:42,43; JST) "56. And then understood they the parable which he spake unto them, that the Gentiles should be destroyed also, when the Lord should descend out of heaven to reign in his vineyard, which is the earth and the inhabitants thereof." (Matt. 21:56; JST) You LDS profess that it is the non-LDS "gentiles" who will be destroyed, yet only the LDS gentiles had "the law", "the ordinances" and the "everlasting covenant". It was the LDS gentiles who were "the salt of the earth", because they had the ability to save, to exalt through the gospel ordinances. Jesus Christ warned you to repent: "15. But if they will not turn unto me, and hearken unto my voice, I will suffer them, yea, I will suffer my people, O house of Israel, that they shall go through among them, and shall tread them down, and they shall be as salt that hath lost its savor, which is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of my people, O house of Israel." (3 Nephi 16:15) "39. When men are called unto mine everlasting gospel, and covenant with an everlasting covenant, they are accounted as the salt of the earth and the savor of men; 40. They are called to be the savor of men; therefore, if that salt of the earth lose its savor, behold, it is thenceforth good for nothing only to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men." (D&C 101:39,40) The "anti-Christ" is not atheist; the "anti-Christ" places himself in Christ's stead; the "anti-Christ" is a false Christ. When a mortal tells you to follow him and he will guarantee your exaltation, that man is a "false Christ", even if he is the president of the LDS Church! "Follow the prophet and he will not lead you astray" has been drummed into your brain since primary. This doctrine is Luciferian and has been inserted into the Lord's church so that Lucifer may control the Lord's church culminating in the "son of perdition" or son of Lucifer or "prince of Tyrus" sitting in God's temple! Lucifer is the "king of Tyrus", the king of the United States (Ezekiel 28:1-19). By sustaining present church policy and the false prophets in control of the LDS Church, you have stained your hands with the innocent blood of the unborn; the blood of children slain in compliance with a church policy which allows abortion for: 1. rape; 2. incest; 3. mother's health; 4. mother's life; 5. a fetus pronounced "non-viable" by "medical authority"! Like the Nephites, you are guilty of secret murder, and like the Nephites you will be destroyed! "15. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood." (Isaiah 1:15) God will not allow this abomination that His church has become to stand. If you are ignorant, then repent of your folly and use your right hand to vote down this abomination lest God bring it down and you with it. Repent lest you be found with the "mark of the beast" in your right hand. "24. Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord. 25. And upon my house shall it begin, and from my house shall it go forth, saith the Lord; 26. First among those among you , saith the Lord, who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have blasphemed against me in the midst of my house, saith the Lord." (D&C 112:24-26) We testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has fallen into apostasy by transgressing the laws, changing the ordinances, and breaking the everlasting covenant, and unless the church immediately repents, the Lord will bring desolation upon this abomination and the Lord will choose another people. Personally I believe I am apostate in only that I am not living the Full Law (not necessarily keeping the law of polygamy, but rather not being completely true and faithful in all things).
But not living the full law does not mean that one is necessarily a complete apostate .

I do not think, that not living the law of plural marriage implies that the Church is apostate. It could mean the individually we are not worthy yet to follow this law.
There were specific times in the Book of Mormon where Marriage was restricted to one wife (See Jacob 2:27). To base the theory that the LDS Church has apostatized primarily based on not practicing Plural Marriage denies the fact that a people during the Book of Mormon were restricted from having more then one wife. We then should regard the Nephites in Jacobs time as Apostate because God commanded them to have on wife.
I would put forth that if Polygamy is the main evidence that the current Church is apostate, then there is not a Church of any influence on earth that can prepare the way for the Lord before the Second Coming, with the needed apostle, prophets, temples and ordinances that can do the most good for the most people that exists on Earth Today.
Are You An Apostate?
It is interesting to note how much emphasis is placed in the modern practice of Plural Marriage by some people. I understand the purpose of the commandment, but I do not feel like I am Apostate because I do not live this law. It is often forgotten by these zealots that Plural Marriage had to be initiated by a higher authority.
