Dr. Phil vs. Bum Fights Producer
Question to ask yourself... did Dr. Phill ask him to leave because of the way he was dressed for the show or because of the content of the film?
After watching that I feel that it was a publicity stunt by "Dr" Phil. He'd be a class A idiot if he didn't review the footage beforehand, and he probably had advance warning that the guy would be dressed like Phil.
On a different note I like Bum Fights, most of them are funny and all are NHI cases. If you don't like the videos, don't watch them.

Oh I am sure he checked the footage beforehand as well as saw the guy trying to mock him by dressing like him but surely the producer did not expect to be kicked out of the show in that manner. I am glad Dr. Phil did it and made the man look like a complete idiot on national television. Such a low-life, idle man who produces (as well as those who watch this kind of crap) are not only idle idiots who do not give a darn about the lives of others but they do not deserve even a second of air time. LOSERS!
Dr. Phil did that strategically, in my opinion, to embarass him with shock. The guy was expecting to be acknowledged and Dr. Phil wanted to show him that he was not going to, this is what made him mad - his plan did not go as he would have wanted it to go.

So what you're saying is that kind old Dr. Phil ambushed him, looks like he's subscribing to the Mike Wallace school of thought. It seems to bring in ratings so I can see the reasoning in that, but he mostly succeeded in giving Bum Fights free publicity.
After I finished watching this video clip, I felt so depressed. How could anyone stoop to such an all time low by exploiting homeless persons? Did anyone notice the look of contempt in his eyes when he said, "I could even smell them?" It does not surprise me that many individuals enjoy watching Bumfights. After all, the homeless are not the only ones who need help, in this world!
There are two things that disturb me about this whole ordeal: who in the world would grant approval for a show like Bumfights?
Secondly, why did Dr Phil invite the creator of Bumfights to his show in the first place?
I am not sure who to consider as the lesser of the two evils: the creator of Bumfights, who believes that he is actually helping the homeless with his show or Dr Phil, a man of intelligence, who would stoop so low to invite someone with poor taste, just to kick him off the show. I believe that this show serves to:
1) Increase ratings.
2) Show the world that you should never cross Dr Phil live on television. You may never know what he will do.
But if you ask me, I think Dr Phil was offended by the way the guy chose to mock him on his own show. I am not buying that Dr Phil wanted to humiliate him because he considered Bumfights as despicable. If he thought that what the man did for a living was disgusting, then why bother to invite him to the show? After all, Dr Phil has the final approval about what topics should be discussed on his own show!
Although I am a big fan of the Dr Phil show, since last year, I have noticed that his topics are becoming more sensationalistic rather than educational. Even the way that his new shows are advertised, you cannot help but think about an episode you would expect to see on "the Jerry Springer show."
