The New York Times and the Associated Press are reporting that singer/songwriter/activist Pete Seeger died Monday at the age of 94. Seeger popularized "This Land Is Your Land" And "We Shall Overcome" And wrote "If I Had a Hammer" And "Turn, Turn, Turn." Bruce Springsteen called him "The father of American folk music." Ref.
