How elephants keep tabs on family
Elephants keep track on up to 30 absent relatives by sniffing out their scent and building up a mental map of where they are, research suggests.

That's really fascinating. I've always known that elephants are highly intelligent, and obviously well known for their incredible memories, but now it seems that they have other 'hidden' aspects to them too, and that they are actually more intelligent than most people give them credit for!
