German Clinic Mixes Up Newborns
Another disturbing case. The saddest part about this story is that one set of parents does not know yet the child they are raising as their own is not their baby.

| BERLIN - A clinic in southwestern Germany acknowledged Friday that it had mixed up two newborn girls and given them to the wrong parents, saying it was trying to rectify the mistake, a newspaper reported. The clinic in Saarlouis mixed the babies up this summer, the top-selling Bild newspaper said. The mistake came to light when one of the fathers took a paternity test, which led to him finding out that he was not the natural father of the baby - and that his wife was also not the mother. The other couple still does not know of the mix up, Bild reported - and it is not yet certain who they might be.
