Trump's history take on Andrew Jackson and the civil war makes me wonder if he just makes up things as he goes along or he's just a 70 year old guy that suffering with age. Either way the bloak needs to be told to take it easy with his examples and such and just stick to the facts.

Trump wasn't completely wrong about Andrew Jackson, he just wasn't completely right either. In truth, he was mostly wrong but he got some of it right might be a better way to characterize what he said.
Andrew Jackson was a firm proponent of maintaining the Union at any cost. Had he been alive during the Civil War many an academian have conjectured that Tennessee wouldn't have gone over to the Confederacy. It was near thing as it was when they did join and they were the last state to do so. They sent many sons to fight on both sides. This is not a fact much known, but there were 2 Tennessee artillery regiments, 16 cavalry regiments, and over 20 infantry and dragoon regiments.
So, he was correct in that Andrew Jackson was dead set against breaking up the Union. There was a scare of civil war both during his presidency and late in his life over slavery and states' rights and he was completely pro union each time. Now, he definitely owned slaves and in no way am I apologist for this… it was a disgusting practice, but had he been alive in the 1860s at least one state would have stayed in the Union.
Trump to visit Israel, Saudi Arabia, Vatican in first foreign trip:
The president said he will begin his trip in Saudi Arabia, where he will convene a "Historic gathering" of "Leaders from all across the Muslim world" to form a new push to combat terrorism and Islamic radicalism. Ref. Source 9c.
I listened to some of the comments about how he is just like Nixon and that there is going to be a huge scandal in the white house because he is acting like a dictator. The funny part of this is that is all comments from the Democrats. I think they are still mad that their candidate lost. I think people are just still looking for a way to get their way.
