I like President Trump. I was unsure about him but as he talks to us in plain language instead of beating around the bushes like all the politicians I see that we may have a good and interesting four years.

Well, it'll certainly be interesting. I still think he needs to learn to control himself on the tweets though. Why give the press more ammunition?

I think as time goes on he will relax with the tweets. It does not matter what he tweets any ways because the press is going to take it and twist it for their own purposes and make it seem worse than it was.

MSNBC thinks poorly of President Trump, what a shock. Come on, if they investigated for this long and haven't found anything maybe it's because nothing is there. At one time or another the Mafia in NY owned all the garbage disposal companies and many construction companies. The fact that his corporation had to do business with a company affiliated with the mob to get the trash picked up is a no brained if there isn't another choice. And [By The Way], the City of NY did business with them too.

I keep telling people that the news companies are not about the news anymore. I would for the life of me enjoy a news station that just reported the news and not have to put their little spin on stuff. Like the old Dragnet tv series. "Just the facts" Just tell us the real news and just the facts. If they did that I am sure there will be a lot less of President Trump did this or that in the past or that he was tied with this or that organization.

Rather off topic, but...
Yes, I'd love it if I didn't know the political affiliation of the people reporting the news. I'd also love it if I didn't know the political affiliation of the late night talk shows. I couldn't tell you what political affiliation the Huntley Brinkley team had, but they reported the news well. Nor could I tell you if Johnny Carson was a Democrat or a Republican, he'd poke gentle fun at everyone. Now, we have vulgar crap on TV.

I'm sorry for the rant. President Trump has plenty of flaws. There is no doubt about that. But that doesn't mean we should hope for him to fail or make stuff up in the hopes he is less effective. My goodness, we all have our shortcomings and failings.

Yes we all have our flaws but it seems the news is looking to find any and all flaws with our President. I think it is sad they do this to people like our president. Report the news and let the people decide. I think our president has it right when he stated he may stop allowing the press in the white house.
