Yes, I agree with what you said about the leaders in DC. After one single day of standing shoulder to shoulder because of the shooting of Rep Scalise, Nancy Pelosi got on TV last night and started up the rhetoric again. She was yelling into the microphone at a presser, "How dare they, how dare they. Something needs to be done, they need to be stopped" in talking about some Republican initiative, maybe healthcare. People like the guy who shot Rep Scalise and three other people look at that they need to be stopped phrase as a call to arms. And the Republicans do this too. Neither side is guiltless. Time to tone down the rhetoric. How about just saying we fundamentally disagree with the other side's stance (Whether Republican or Democrat) and we'll oppose it in the Halls of Congress.
Trump-Russia investigation: How the hacking of campaign emails set off controversies consuming the presidency. As tends to happen in Washington (See Watergate, 1972-1974 and Whitewater, 1993-1998), one controversy can beget another until the central question becomes not what the president did, but whether he obstructed the investigation. Ref. USAToday.
Donald Trump and his team hired an army of lawyers for Russia investigation. Who made the list? The president and top administration officials began a hiring blitz of high-powered personal lawyers to shield them from possible exposure - as witnesses or subjects - after Robert Mueller was named special counsel to head the Justice Department's widening Russia investigation. Trump himself has assembled at least four outside attorneys, led by his longtime counsel Marc Kasowitz. Vice President Pence and Trump son-in-law and close adviser Jared Kushner also have lawyered up. So too has the nation's chief law enforcement officer, Attorney General Jeff Sessions. In what has become a near-full employment opportunity for the defense bar, even some of Trump's lawyers have lawyers. Meet the Trump team's legal army. Ref. USAToday.
Maybe his lawyers will rescue him but one thing is for sure, Trump will go down as the most controversial unorthodox president in the history of America. It will be a welcome break when he gets voted out or his term ends.

Trans,
They've said that before about our presidents. They said it about Jefferson because of his idealism and using powers no one thought he had to buy the Louisiana Purchase. They said it about Lincoln for obvious reasons. There have been others as well. And as far as being voted out of office, there is a political eternity until the next presidential election. If the economy picks up more there's a darn good chance he wins.
Reactions flowed in swiftly after President Trump posted a pair of hateful and sexist tweets about MSNBC's “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski while the pair was on the air Thursday.
MSNBC responded with this statement: "It's a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job."
Republican lawmakers were caught off guard, and several said the remarks were unbecoming of the office. House Speaker Paul Ryan said the crude messages are inappropriate and do nothing to help fix the tone of debate in Washington.
First lady Melania Trump stood by the President, and her communications director released the following statement: "As the First Lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder."
CNN’s Chris CIllizza says Trump has crossed a line that would require an apology and possibly result in a firing for other high-profile men. He says the President’s “problem is that he is incapable of differentiating between disagreements about policy or even tone and genuine attacks on him personally.” Ref. CNN.
As I say many times I'm no fan of Trump but it is very amusing to hear CNN call him on on this. CNN has lost the ability I would say to tell the difference between news and a hit piece. They don't have any kind of moral high ground to lecture anyone from.
