Will President Trump's exercise and eating habits catch up to him as the stress of his job mounts? He's 71, holds down an incredibly stressful job, and is overweight. He doesn't exercise. His eating habits are less than ideal. And to top it all off, he doesn't get enough sleep. For anyone walking into a doctor's office with those symptoms, stern warnings to change one's lifestyle are sure to follow. But this patient is President Trump, who plays by different rules. President Donald Trump’s trashing of several of top Justice Department officials, including Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is causing deep alarm inside the West Wing.
Trump’s comments in an interview with The New York Times are leading some to worry that their loyalty to Trump might not be reciprocated from the man in the Oval Office.
"It's chilling," one White House official said.
Sessions earlier Thursday said he plans to continue in his job despite Trump saying that he would have picked someone else had he known Sessions would recuse himself from the department's Russia investigation.
“We love this job. We love this department, and I plan to continue to do so as long as that is appropriate," he told reporters Thursday. Ref. CNN.
His "Different rules" are sinking him and its coming as no surprise. Any man that can be so reactive and hasty is bound to not see the object that will trip him when he is trying to move forward.

We'll see if they are sinking him. I've heard this so often about him starting during the primaries and through the election… and he sits in the Oval Office. I think when I hear that it's sometimes wishful thinking… and that is dangerous since it leads to underestimating the opposition.
A combative President Trump issues 2-hour tweetstorm claiming a president has the 'complete power to pardon'. Trump also railed against "Illegal" leaks from the "Amazon Washington Post,' which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, called for legal action against Hillary Clinton and former FBI director James Comey and declared ObamaCare "Dead." Ref. USAToday.
Again, I don't like this. I think it is below the presidency. That said, people in past generations thought debating on TV when Nixon and Kennedy did it was beneath the presidency. They thought appearing on late night TV was beneath the presidency. I think each new thing is beneath the presidency until it becomes the norm.
Now, there are those who would argue what he tweets is beneath the presidency. I think he tweets that because it's targeted to his supporters and I think his supporters love it. And I'm sorry, after the last election I just don't believe the polls any more. I think they are conducted by organizations that want to see him fail, the questions are slanted, and the results are misinterpreted and then gobbled up by the very people who are deluding themselves.
One could argue that when President Obama, the great campaigner, continued to campaign even after he won the elections, and was calling hard working Americans "Fat cat bankers with their private jets" he was not being presidential. I mean, why would he harangue and demean a whole class of people, bankers in this case, just because they are successful? They probably worked darn hard for that success. And here they are being castigated for it. Well, he did it to play to his base… just like President Trump. And those of you who think differently are probably underestimating the man and will lose again because of it.
