Twitter says Trump tweet about Minneapolis protests violated rules about ‘glorifying violence’

Witter's response came after President Donald Trump tweeted early Friday: “These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd,” as protests in the wake of Floyd’s death boiled over for a third straight night. Trump added in the tweet: “Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts.” Twitter posted a public interest notice on the president’s tweet, but said it had determined that it may be in the public’s interest for it to remain accessible. Jacksonville chosen to host President Trump's Republican National Convention acceptance speech. The Republican National Committee announced Thursday it has officially settled on Jacksonville, Florida, as the new location for its convention to nominate President Donald Trump for re-election. The move comes after North Carolina Gov.
