It was quite possibly one of the most vile soft drinks ever mass marketed. I remember my mother drinking this stuff and did we get quite a shock when we tried to "sneak" a taste of some of her soda. After we figured out she was drinking this stuff, we stayed away from her drinks like they were poisoned!

I never liked the taste of Tab either. It was like a medicine with bubbles. These days they have perfected the taste of artificial sweeteners, so there is a lot better quality now.
