Imagine living with a skin condition in which strange fibers grow inexplicably from sores in your skin -- well many people claim they do. It's called Morgellons disease, and today the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced it was launching a study to learn more about this bizarre condition. People with Morgellons say they have fibers and other inorganic material growing out of their skin, but many in the medical field still have doubts about the ailment.
