SALES SIZZLE ON SCOOTERS AND BIKES
The rising cost of gasoline is not putting a crimp in everyone's pocketbook. Local motorcycle, scooter and bicycle shops have no complaints. As gas prices go up, so do sales. People are turning more to machines that can get 50 to 110 miles per gallon - or use no gas at all.

Sales rising on bikes and scooters make sense. Two guys that work with me have motorcycles and they ride them most of the time now. They claim it saves them nearly twenty dollars a week riding it instead of using their cars. I have even seen one of them ride in the rain. My wife will not allow me to get a bike so I am stuck with an old mini-van that gets horrible milage. Sigh!
