Black Men During World War 2

Did you know that Black Men During World War 2 were not allowed to have the highest medals of honor bestowed about them because they were Black and not considered 'complete' soldiers? Even if the Black soldier went way beyond the call of duty they still were not honored properly.

In addition to this, German Nazis were instructed to not take Blacks soldiers as prisoners because they were considered not 'complete' soldiers.

In other words, if you were Black and fighting for the US military during WWII then you were 'screwed' as the US citizens would say.

War World Men Black

This is disgusting! Was this a law or a policy? (Not able to give honor medals to Black soldiers). I can imagine a mixture of feelings of sadness, frustration, anger from a group pf people that gave their all to serve their country and their own did not recognize them. Pathetic.
