Toys: Toys "R" Us vs. Wal-Mart
Toys "R" Us, once the No. 1 seller of toys in the United States, has been dethroned by big discounter Wal-Mart. CEO Jerry Storch is not only trying to turn it around by tidying up the store, he's trying to revitalize an American icon and the color pink is playing an important role.

For me, Toys "R" US, is just the trademark and that's why they are so popular. You can get the same toys at Walmart for half of the value, why would you want to spend more when you can save some bucks? Unless you want to leave the shop with a Toys "R" US bag.
Toys "R" Us isn't very economical, that's for sure. They have a hug selection of things that you can't always find at Wal-Mart, though. The closest one to us is 50 miles away, so we rarely go to Toys "R" Us. In fact, someone gave my daughter a $25 gift card there a year ago, but we have yet to go use it. It's just inconvenient.

Comments: I'm sick of having to go to Wal-Mart for everything, other buisnesses need to beat their prices!
Toys R Us to hire 45,000 workers for holidays
The privately held toy company said Tuesday that it is hiring more workers than in the past three holiday seasons because of an additional 600 smaller stores located in malls and shopping centers. Those "pop-up" stores are called Toys R Us Express. Ref. Source 8
