Plan of Salvation
I was looking through some LDS Related sites and found this great piece of art work depicting the Plan of Salvation and thought I would share it with you: Plan of Salvation (front and back).
The third and fourth resurrection is not considered a basic teaching when sharing the Plan of Salvation. No one card this small could possibly cover everything, it is meant as a help - a guide, in my opinion, it is a great visual aide.
Dude, yes, I have actually used that one on my mission, but it has long been torn up from usage. If I remember correctly the emphasis was on the scriptures and explanation more than the graphics, but it did the job. If you come across any digitized ones please let me know via the Contact page so I can place them in the Downloads section.
"This earth is not our home. We are away at school, trying to master the lessons of 'the great plan of happiness' so we can return home and know what it means to be there. Over and over the Lord tells us why the plan is worth our sacrifice--and His. Eve called it 'the joy of our redemption' (Moses 5:11). Jacob called it 'that happiness which is prepared for the saints' (2 Nephi 9:43). Of necessity, the plan is full of thorns and tears--His and ours. But because He and we are so totally in this together, our being 'at one' with Him in overcoming all opposition will itself bring us 'incomprehensible joy.' "
