SNAKE WITH HIPS EVOLVED ON LAND, FOSSIL SUGGESTS
A newly discovered fossil of a snake with "hips" and legs adds to the evidence that snakes evolved on land rather than slinking out of the sea.

Hips Snake
This makes sense as most snakes are found on land; there are very few that live in water. It just seems that if an animal that originally was a sea creature were to evolve into a land creature, that we would still have a fair amount of that animal in the seas. I have to admit when I first saw the title of this discussion I thought it was about women who steal from men aka snake with hips and legs
