Cheating among Chinese students at Lincoln University is rife, say students and staff.

Sounds like this University has got a prolific problem here, and the problem with that is that unless they manage to break the cycle, more and more students will 'jump on the bandwagon' and continue to cheat, and gain unfair results at the expense of the students who have put every effort into their work to pass fairly.
Cheating is never good, and somewhere along the way, I think it will always catch up on the cheaters, at least I certainly hope that they get their comeuppance!
