Students Sue NYPD Over Alleged Mistreatment

A class action federal lawsuit has been filed against New York City and its police department claiming school safety agents use excessive force against the students they're supposed to protect. The suit was filed by the New York Civil Liberties Union and it follows years of complaints that disciplinary actions that were previously handled by educators have now been taken over by police.
