Many suggestions to assist members in understanding and responding to individuals with special needs are now available at www.disabilities.lds.org, a newly posted link on the Church Web site. The site provides detailed information on a range of disabilities, not only for helps in adjusting to Church services, but also in dealing with concerns in the home.

Disabled Lds

One top way is for members of the church to show a bit more kindness. I have seen some become so impatient and isolate these members. They are disabled not contaminated with a deadly virus.

I just checked the site and it's quite informative. I just wish teachers at Church specially can access this kind of information and implement it in the classrooms. Otherwise is useless.
