Clock Hands
Why do Clock Hands go in circles to the right instead of to the left?
That is a very good question, Question, and one I will attempt to answer.
I think clock hands go right because modern clocks are patterned after the sundial. When the sun moves across the northern hemisphere, the shadow on the sundial goes right.
However, if the sundial is in the southern hemisphere (below the equator) the shadow would go left. But since the sundial was invented/first used in the northern hemisphere, clock hands go right.
