Mideast may save Dead Sea with Red Sea

SOUTHERN SHUNEH, Jordan - Officials from Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Authority met along the shores of the Dead Sea to settle details of a study to save the shrinking body of water, agreeing to proceed with plans to draw water from the Red Sea.

Sea Red Sea Dead Save Mideast

So there are benefits to be had from the fresh water of the Red Sea. So the Dead Sea will be gone in fifty years if it is not replenished. I don't really care about all that. What I care about is our interfering with the natural process of the earth just to preserve some religious history. The real reason they want to keep it is because so much of the three monotheistic religions took place in the area. That is not a good reason to divert water from one sea to another. How will this effect the Red Sea or its sea life? I hope this scientific study is just that, scientific, and not influenced by religious bias.
