Then you have to take into consideration the amount of RAM you have available, sever CPU and disk space.

Sometimes if you just do a full reboot of your server then you'll find everything readjusts just fine. Most hosts already tweak everything for you, but because of updates in between you may need a full restart not a partial restart of just httpd.
