Are you the kind of person that has a tool for everything and just loves using them? Some humans consider using a tool as a time to relieve stress so even if the car or bike does not need fixing they pull out their tool box and start twisting bolts anyway.
I am the antithesis of what you just described Neo. I have very few tools, and the few I have I rarely use, or know how to use properly. I am not your practical sort of person when it comes to fixing things around the house. Now with that being said, put a pc in front of me, and I can fix it; hardware of software. When I like to relieve stress, I sit in front of my pc and start registry hacking/tweaking, or something like that.

I like fixing things - sometimes - I got to be in the mood. Generally I have tools for everything. When I did have a car I usually would go and check on it just to make sure it was working properly to avoid future stress, but I know guys who would spend all day on their car as though there is no tomorrow - please - do you have a life?
Well, first, I say "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" However, if you must fix it, you should use the proper tool...if you have it. If not, a butter knife makes a good screw driver and a rock is a good hammer.
I love tools almost as much as I love office supplies I don't have a lot of tools, but I really enjoy having the convenience of an actual tool to do the job. My Dremel is an example of a very versatile and useful tool. I don't use it often, but when I need it, it's great to have.

I don't really care for tools either, though if you put one in front of me, I will know how to use it...though my dad is like the complete opposite...he loves working on cars (UGH!) and boats and whatever he can get his hands on. but he has taught me how to use so many different tools, so I guess that's about the only plus...
I'm more like malexander, I love fixing computers, not cars...so give me the PC, not the car.
