I don't think I could just have a child because of that. I believe I would have to go on faith and take life as it came. Obviously, it is easier said then done, and I hope never to find my children severely ill or in need of care.

On one hand I find this disturbing but at the same time if you have a child desperate for something to remain alive then you may get desperate. It is hard to say what I would do.

It's very hard to answer this one, because if your child was dying, I'm guessing most people would do anything to save them.

If the child produced is well loved, it doesn't seem as bad as producing a child you can't stand just to save a life of maybe an adult relative or spouse.

I hope we would never have to stand in this position.
