What are your thoughts about Shaun Ellis, wolf expert? He has no formal training but has literally lived among wolves for more than 15 years. He says he can speak as a wolf and act as a wolf.

Comments: Namaste' as someone who has lived with wolves (I own and operate a licensed wolf facility in Canada) all I can say is that I am ashamed National Geographic would allow such a program to be aired, such as A Man Among Wolves.)

This [noneducational] program teaches CHILDREN and adults alike some potentially dangerous things about interacting with wolves. If anyone were to take HIS advice, some wolf keeper might wind up DEAD someday. ( I beg to also differ about him being called an expert,) having just come along and within a few years proclaiming YOURSELF as an expert, Anyone reading about or watching that program should know that Shaun's way is definitely an IGNORANT one.

And a wolf RESEARCHER? he has a *zoo* like many other zoos out there, what is he researching really? Wolf Park wolfpark.org has been in existence for over 25 years now, started by a TRUE wolf researcher Erich Klinghammer, so what has Shaun discovered *exactly*

What kind of sacrifice is leaving kids and family behind to TRY and be a WOLF? He is good at creating a lot of hype and fanfare, and with NG's help infamy, the odd has always attracted attention, but odd doesn't necessarily mean factual. But it's all about the *dramatic* these days on T.V even if it's not based on reality, like so many so called reality shows are not.

You treat wolves and respect them as they are...a WOLF. Humans cannot teach wolves to act and be wolf, as this is inherent. Pups start howling all on their own by two weeks of age, without anyone having to TEACH them.

Humans cannot mimic, no matter how hard they try and believe they can, all the things necessary to teach a wolf to be a wolf. Does he also think wolves could teach a human baby to be human?

Hmmm in my dreams I BELIEVE I am flying too, then I wake up and sigh.

I believe that he is a fraud. I am not wolf expert but I know a few things. I doubt that he is teaching the wolfs anything. I bet if the wolves get hungry enough we will not have to worry about him living with them anymore.

I had dogs that were part wolf, I'd like to see him at his facility. The wolves are really well trained. Looking forward to checking this out further.

Comments: Mr. Ellis, I only heard about you for about an hour now, but I think that you are the luckiest man alive to have lived with the wolves that way. I would give up everything except my kids to have a chance to do just that!
