What are your thoughts bout the new Whopper Bar from Burger King that allows you to customize your Burger with 22 different toppings?

I like the idea of the options on the toppings but then is it really a whopper any longer or just anther custom burger?

Well people like to customize and so do I. It is nice to have the same flame broiled burger but this time selecting what I want. For instance here is a healthy dish: bacon, extra cheese, slice of pineapple, etc.

I guess they will have the original toppings posted for those who resist change. I think it should do well.

There is a place called Fudruckers in Tucson where you by a burger (or cheeseburger with nothing on it,) in different sizes (1/3 pound 1/2 pound etc) and then you get to go to a expansive area and put the toppings on it that you like. Its self serve with probably at least 50 or more toppings (Lettuce, pineapple, jalapenos, condiments, cucumbers, dressings, vegetables,salsas, pretty much anything you would put on a burger and some things you wouldn't think about.)

Its one of my favorite restaurants, but I don't go that often.

I wouldn't mind if Burger King did this too.

Selecting my condiments and fillers sounds enticing. The only thing is that I hope its fresh. Sometimes you get some stale fillers when they do it this way. I also agree with the comment that it may not taste like Burger King after. Let's see what Mc Donald's does to counter this.

They have some cool options but I'm not much for change so I end up just ordering the usual.

I am still waiting to see it come to a burger king near me. Until then I will continue to go to Fuddruckers and buy the burgers there.
