Poor little angel! My heart goes to him who is now safe in Heaven. Now for the bastard who did this (apparently his own father) I hope since this happened in Texas, he will be arrested and sentenced to the death penalty! What kind of monster does this to its own flesh and blood? My heart also goes to the couple who found this baby. The man who saw the baby became ill, cried and nearly collapsed before telling his wife about it.

| A 3-month-old infant had been murdered before his body was tossed out onto the side of a road while still inside his child safety seat, according to autopsy results released Wednesday. The child's death was ruled a homicide by blunt force head trauma, said John Florence, chief investigator for the Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office. "The (medical examiner) is telling us it happened before the body had been tossed out in the car seat," said Galveston Police spokesman Lt. Jorge Trevino. Authorities on Wednesday were still searching for the father, the last person seen with the infant. An Alvin woman, whose name has not been released, has tentatively identified the body as that of her son. But the infant still was not positively identified after the autopsy. Investigators were preparing to subpoena footprints from the hospital where the infant was believed to be born in order to positively identify him. But the hospital, which is not mandated to keep such records, might not have the infant's footprint, Trevino said. "If not, then we will have to depend on DNA testing and that may tie it up for another three or four days even if we expedite it," he said.... |
