This was a very good article but rather lengthy. While it was worded in a more scientific way, I caught a general trend that the best teacher is not going to have all of the desirable traits that may be taught to future teachers but they will have the personality and the true caring spirit that will allow them to relate and connect to their students on a very personal yet professional manner. This as the article explains is a good way for the teachers to actually encourage the students to learn and make the lessons fun.
After reading that article I have to think that being able to understand what individual children need is what sets a good teacher apart from a merely mediocre one. If you can discern what a child's learning style and needs are, you can teach in that manner for that child. That is what sets teachers apart.
