Speed Week

Speed week at Daytona is at hand. This is basically the Nascar kickoff for the year to set everything in motion and set the standards of racing for the year. In the period of a week there are numerous races and other activities. My wife watches this every year and even takes off work several days simply to watch coverage on the Speed Channel. She desperately wants to attend one year and I hope I am able to take her in the next few years.

Has anyone attended speed week? Are there things that stand out in your mind that you experienced? Is there anything that you may have missed? Is this an experience that you would want to experience again?
