Oracle Introduction

Greetings, Oracle of Confusion speaking! I found this place becase I was bored and trying to find one of two things.

1. An RPG forum that wouldn't be full of chat-speak and screaming teens.
2. Some kind of forum to discuss global or local issues with people from around the world.

I suppose you want to know something about myself on a somewhat personal level. I'm 20, live in California, and I'm female. I'm attending college and majoring in Anthropology, but when I go to University I want to major in International Relations Way back in middle-school I discovered the world of RPGing, joined a couple of RPG forums, and did some moderation. Prts were fun, but the educated RPGing was hard to find, so much of it was all about someone's angsty past and their search for true love. I got bored and High School kept me pretty busy. Now I'd like to get back to RPing, but I'd rather just not deal with all the people who can' write a single sentence in proper English.

Ok, to be really honest. I'm not entirly sure how this site works. I read something saying this was an RPG forum and something saying it was an international forum. So far, I'm just folowing directions and I'm hoping everything will turn out to be fairly obvious.

We have FOUR types of RPGs here, which one are you interested in:

1. Start Now Type: For those who want to start immediately then you need to go to: Ruler of Kings or Emperor of Asia or Future Terra or Jerusalem Conquest or Germany 1939 and register on those.

2. Integrated RPGs: This is where the RPGs are part of the Community. Games like Plugged, Cozyville and others considers what you do in the Community and thus it affects game play. To see a list of these check the RPG Stuff Page.

3. Writer's Paradise: For for those who prefer well thought out storylines where the players are more mature then keep reading below:
You need to make 30 Constructive Posts as a test to see how well you can participate in our Text Based Games, so get started now by selecting a Board and giving your input.

4. Share Book RPG: This is the EASIEST type of RPG to get involved in because it only takes you joining in a Thread with a current Book Scenario and giving your vote in which direction a character should move.
