Yes, Eunice is in jail, the prosecution team and victims were expecting 7 year, but because her lack of remorse the judge threw the book at her and gave her the maximum sentence of 14 years. Your right she should be facing the death penalty, but for now we will have to settle with the sound mind of knowing that type of evil is rotting in jail. I have read in excess of 25 books of this type of crime and abuse, I mights start a thread for each of these books one by one so that if people don't want to here the graphic details can still be tuned into to what type of evil is living all around us. People must remember that these books only tell you the facts, opinions and recollections of the victim (mainly), and not official authorities.
She got only 14 years? What kind of judge gave her that sentence? That's a joke! I'm curious as to how old are her kids now. Curiouskim do you know any of the victims in person?

No I don't know any of the victims personally, but I do feel that I know Christopher just from reading his auto biography, Bradley the youngest I think is around 17, Christopher around 20, Karen around 23 and Lulu or Mary Beth around 25, I can't be 100% sure as the book doesn't say but it insinuates that they are around those ages, I strongly recommend you reading the book. It's called Child C.
Alloma Gilbert, one of the victims of Eunice Spry gave an account of what she went through in 2008:

Comments: I have just finished reading Christopher Spry's book. I can't believe I actually finished it. It filled me with such anger, shock and sadness that at tines I found it hard to continue. I just wanted to be there with Christopher and his siblings protecting them from the "monster" they knew as "mother". I wanted to fight back for them, get my hands around "mother's" throat and strangle the life out of her so they would all be free to enjoy the happy childhood they should have been entitled to. It's too late to ask "how could so many people have missed what was going on in this family". But it's never too late to save the next one. Abuse like this is happening everywhere, perhaps even next door or just down the street, in your "perfectly normal" suburb. We as human beings have a responsibility to be more vigilant toward each other. We have become selfish and complacent. I no longer want to grab hold of Eunice Spry and beat her to death with one of her own weapons. There is no doubt she is a mentally unstable individual perhaps even a sociopath but we as a human society have not only failed these poor children but also this very unbalanced woman. Make no mistake, she belongs in jail and personally, I would have preferred it to be a life sentence. However, like her children this woman needs psychiatric help and I hope she is receiving it. It needs to be remembered that she WILL be released from prison one day. We owe it to Christopher and his siblings to make sure that she can never harm them, or anyone else, in any way, again.

Comments: I read Alloma's book and am about to read Christopher's book I found this abuse very hard to understand why inflict that pain on anyone I rellly feel that she has mental problems and maybe it should this should be investigated further to get to the real reasons eunice inflicted abuse on those she was supposed to be providing care for.
Hi Lynette, I noticed several people mentioning that they read different books about this case, I'm curious what kind of feeling do you get while reading these things? I only read some of the things mentioned here and I just couldn't stop crying.
