Is it wrong to have Racial Preferences when it comes to: marriage, friends, etc.?

Personally, I feel it is wrong to choose friendship through color of skin,without getting to know the person for who they are.There are good and bad in all races and religions. Unfortunately the way people are brought up affects this, and cultural and racial issues don't just affect white people against blacks, it can affect asians not wanting white friends etc.

When you add in that there are many religions who only like to keep friendships with people of the same religion, I think that unless people actually start to make an effort, further down the road you are just going to carry prejudices mainly through ignorance.

I do not know if it's wrong but we all feel more attracted to people of certain races than others, I believe there is beauty within all races but we do have preferences even though we do not openly talk about it.

No, I don't think it's wrong. You like what you like and it should be your choice. You shouldn't have to force yourself to be attracted to someone in any circumstance. It goes the other way too, meaning that if you try to deny your attraction to someone because of their race then it's just as bad. You could be missing out on something really great.

When it come to attraction, just go with the flow and stay open and in-tune with your real feelings.
