The lunch and dinner menus vary. The sloppy joe served with delicious sweet potato french fries (they're so flavorful that ketchup would be overkill) has become my lunchtime must-have. The inventive touch here is beef cheek and thin onion rings instead of ground beef, and the substitution really works. The same tender beef cheek is an entree at dinner with smoked tomato jam, grain mustard-garlic jus and celery root mash. Also a dinner favorite is the Maine lobster and artichoke pot pie. The homemade fennel-infused pastry crust is amazing -- who knew pot pie could be this interesting and good.
