Greatness Is Not Incompatible With Sin

The world is so confused with what is good and what is evil and people generally believe that if someone is great in some way then they are somehow free from sin. Greatness is not incompatible with sin and king David showed that. He was a great king and annointed but he still sinned and fell badly with Bethsheba. Any thoughts?
