I don't know what I would say, but I have the feeling I will not just stand there watching. As for Members' perception, Mormon myths and a general lack of discernment from Members I have learned years ago not to:
1. Follow the crowd
2. Assume what I know nothing about
3. Research and ponder before I accept
Members can be just ordinary everyday folk that you find walking the street, just because they were baptized at one point doesn't mean they think think and act the way the Lord wants them too. Therefore the judgmental, dark, gossiping responses were people point fingers at those who may be innocent victims is all too prevalent unfortunately.
I will be the first to admit that I think some women do place themselves in circumstances that give a greater chance of a rape to take place, but even so no one deserves to be raped for any reason.
