Why do so many people often seem shocked or surprised when you choose to Home School a special needs child? Why is it Taboo?

Taboo Schooling Children Special Home

Because homeschooling in itself is a lot of work, let alone for a Special Need's child. Some parents mistakenly think they need to know a lot in order to home school a child with special needs, when in fact they just need patience, a very understanding parent and a style that can suit the child's needs.
