You Smelt So Good Last Night

You Smelt So Good Last Night

The next day after a first time casual date would it be bad to call her or him and say as part of your intro "You Smelt So Good Last Night"?

I would say to avoid this line altogether, if you are hoping for a second date. If I am going on a date, I would like to be remembered for the impression I made on my date; for example, how I made him laugh so much and feel so relaxed at the same time. But it would not hurt to say, "I am so glad I went out with you last night! It has been so long since I have met someone so beautiful and intelligent as you are!" If you are picking up your date and he or she enters the car, then you could use the line, "You smell so good. What is the name of that perfume you are wearing?"

You would have to be really green or stupid to say something like that!

What is she's not so intelligent and I'm just going out with her because she is hot?

Well in that case, maybe you should say: "You always look so beautiful and smell so good!" laugh.gif I am hoping that eventually, you will grow to admire other qualities in her, apart from her physical beauty. If not, the relationship will not last forever. As Judge Judy will say: "Beauty may fade but dumb is forever!"

I think, if it's genuine, it's a nice thing to say. I never was into games...what's good to say, what's not...when to call, how long to wait...how many dates before having sex....all that was nonsense to me when dating. I liked it when a guy was genuine. That's shows confidence, and it shows an effort to be vulnerable and real. If you think she smelled great, and it's been on your mind since you last saw her...tell her. Just don't use it as a line.

At this point you already either have or do not have the second date. That was already predetermined during the first date, so a big time cheese line like that isnt going to get you anywhere.

However, when on the 2nd date, if you get one, and she is wearing the same perfume, ask her "what perfume is that...you wore that on our first date. It smells (add your favorite positive adjective here) on you." If she is wearing something different, mention that as well (of course with a positive spin to it). Paying attention to things like that is usually big points.

It is just not 1st phone call after the 1st date intro material... It is like getting your obligatory compliment out of the way in your first breath.
