I think we need more people to vote. I hope that as time goes on we get more active people who will take the time to vote. Having only four people out of the thousands voting is sad.

Yes it is very sad. The thing is most of the Members here see our Community as an Information Source and not as a place to build online relationships so there isn't that 'fun loving' kind of atmosphere. This may be due to the stringent rules, and well our folks here are just older and have less time to think about such things, save those that interest them.

Despite all that you still the credit you get and then some.

Congratulations to you, I wasn't even aware there was any sort of voting, but I am generally oblivious to most things, I don't even know but maybe two of my total family and friends' birthdays, so a notice about voting would definitely have slipped my mind - but I really feel like I couldn't judge such a thing anyway, but from what I've seen so far, you are extremely active and helpful here, so I definitely agree with the vote, though I don't know the other people in the running.

Yes I was gone but the time frame of it came up too quickly for me to get on here. I was not expecting to be gone so soon. Plus a medical issue. I explained it better in my blog.

Sorry about your rough week and more especially the tooth. Having been there and done that I understand what it is like to have pain that keeps you up all night. How many more need to come out before you get dentures?
