What Kind of Romancer Am I?
Take the personality quiz and find out: What Kind of Romancer Am I? You may then place the results here along with any comments you desire.
Well I got a result.
Player - you use cheesy lines and comments off of dinner mint wrappers
I guess not all quizzes can be detailed... Most of the choices were not something I would be doing in such a situation so I had to settle for lesser evils.
Not one of the most impressive quizzes I saw.
Oh well... Can't win them all...

This is what I got: "Sweet Talker - you are full of it, but have no clout behind it". Oh boy, well...the thing is that I would love to do great things for the person I love but money is always the issue! So, it is not like I am a sweet talker, I just need the cash!
Sweety - you got something going, but it does not always work for you - try harder
I wasn't a big fan of this test - not because it gave me a less-than-desirable result, but because the results are based on, well, perhaps the wrong things. For example, in our relationship, conversations over dinner surround politics, latest news and sports. We are the type of couple that reads the Wall Street Journal together. We would both get bored just talking about her all night.
I also said that for Valentine's Day, we would probably sit on the couch and watch a movie. It might seem like that's a lame date, but we don't usually do that, and we could make it special.
We are all about romancing the ordinary. We did dishes together on my birthday. It's not that we aren't romantic. It's just that we don't need to spend a lot of money or go someplace out of the ordinary to be romantic.
I got the same results as howe:
Sweety - you got something going, but it does not always work for you - try harder
I admit I am not the most romantic, but it worked well enough to land me my wife, and I am happy with that. For the question about the last gift I got, unfortunately it was a cheap one, so I may have lost points there. However, in my defense, we've been married for 6 years so expensive gifts are very rare anymore.
Poor Player - you got the drive, but not the skill.
Hmm.. The thing I found about this quiz is that most of it focused on the male role in the relationship. My fiance and I are very traditional, and so most of the things I had to answer, I was answering from the female perspective. The ordering question is a good example. HE usually either orders for me because I told him what I want, or HE lets me go first.
Maybe we could have a quiz aimed more at women, mayhaps? I don't know if I was the only one with that problem.
