Directionally Challenged
Humbly, I believe I have a very good sense of direction. However I have encountered people who do not know their left hand from their right hand, what do you think causes this?
Directionally Challenged (Hover)
I am directionally challenged, badly. My issues are usually related to allocentric, or external, direction. Basically, when people start saying it's "North of X building or east X building" I get totally confused.
Inside buildings, I get lost VERY easily even if the entrance or exit doors are right there, many times it makes me feel quite stupid. It upsets me when people says "It's easy to reach "B" Point! Don't worry" Because I do not have that internal compass so my anxiety level goes up.
What I do to mitigate the problem is look for certain places around that I am familiar with that I can use as a guide and also of course, ask a million questions before venturing to the place.
