TEACHERS AFRAID OF BERSERK 9-YEAR-OLD

A nine-year-old boy who went berserk at a Palmerston North primary school left teachers fearing for their safety and prompted a police callout.

I hope they can help that 9 year old obviously there are some deep issue there. If that happened in Canada I am betting the teachers would have acted the same way. It is sad that one has to worry about being charged with abuse to a child when the child has threatened the adult with a weapon. I miss the days when the teacher had the ability to take the stick from the child then hit once across the butt with it. We can not continue to run scared from children or they will never learn how to function as an adult in society. Right OJ?
