Hollywood Prejudice Against African Americans

What do you think about the latest news that African American actors feel that there is a lot of Prejudice in Hollywood because of the limited number of awards they receive? Do you think there is something there or is it just a question of percentage... there are more White actors than Black actors?

It is a question of percentage in the sense that there is a very small percentage of African American actors making it big to Hollywood in order to be able to even stand a chance in getting one of these awards. We could argue IF the castings for big roles or known shows are racist towards African Americans and other minorities. Hollywood have always loved blondes with light eyes, we are slowly seeing a change but even those minorities being represented are NOT the typical person of that race/ethnicity (Halle Berry, Antonio Banderas, etc).
