That is great for her and Peter Ellias. Now he will have something to use when he lands back in Trinidad and shares how much participation the government offered.

First we lost Kim Sabeeny, who struggled over the years begging the government and businessmen for support to sponsor our ladies to enter the pageants. She was truly devoted to the pageants and may god bless her soul. And now Peter Elias is resigning. I listened to his comments and I thought he was a perfect gentleman. He did not shout and vent his frustration where the government not supporting or honouring their word to give money. He merely looked relieved and gave credit to the team and did not take all the credit and glory for himself. We have lost yet another good person and now we have no one. I know for a fact that no one is going to quickly take over this pageant because of the stress involved and the hassle to receive sponsorship. Peter Elias, congrats for doing a terrific job and we are all sad to see you leave but we understand why.
And Gabrielle, congrats to you for making us proud. However, I strongly believe that she should have won the Miss World Title and not Ms Russia.

The last I saw of Gabrielle Wallcott some celebrating with her father. Any news of what she is doing now?
