STUBBORN KIDS: BRING OUT THEIR BEST -- AND HANDLE THEIR WORST
From her earliest breaths, my daughter Alexis was a force to be reckoned with. As an infant, she shooed away the cereal spoon; as a toddler, she rebounded from her bed all night long. When she was in preschool, her teachers would tell us that her strong will made her a natural leader.

I've got four boys and they seem to be the most stubborn around 3. It also seems like the middle two were the most stubborn during that age.
My third is at that stage now. He is somewhat defiant, but he is defiant with a smile on his face. He will laugh at you while he says no. It is kind of frustrating, and it seems like he wants to see what I will do. I am having one of those battles that parents have with their children.
Any advice would be appreciated.
