I did not see the replies to this thread until LDS_forever was looking through it and brought it to my attention. I would like to point out some things:
1. The title of the thread is: Can you sew?
2. In no part of my opening post did I ever claim that women should be doing sewing and not men. If you look at it closely I am only asking questions:
- Sewing seems like the 'woman' thing to do, but when it comes to making suits they always seem to look for the men - isn't that strange?
- What are your thoughts on sewing?
- Should every woman know how to do it?
- Do you have special tips?
If you examine any of my other posts you will notice that I usually ask questions only, but never share my view in the first post.
3. You cannot hold me accountable for he world already having a stigma in its mind concerning women and sewing, indeed it was my point to show that men are quite capable of the art form as well.
4. Always keep in mind that what may be tradition in your country or relevant in your country may not be relevant in another.
5. This post was to insight posting, which it has done, I am not interested in the topic at all, but I have only returned to reply to neutralize an over exaggerated attempt to pin me down as a sexist.
