Trinidad Homosexuality

QUOTE
Why do people ask this bizarre question where homosexuals and lesbians are concerned. "Which one is the man and which one is the woman?" I suppose it makes sense for those to know who is assuming the role of a woman and a man in the relationship.

I laughed when I read this because I heard that very same question today. Well I have some gay friends (and I am not ashamed to admit it either) and they say people have a lot of misconceptions about gay people. First they think that because you are a gay man that means you are interested in all men. They have their types too, so they will look sexually at one man and pass the other one without a second glance. The other misconception people have too (and this one answers your question Gennie) is that all gay men love to be on the receiving end, if you know what I mean (not sure how to say this here without it being a mature post). In other words yes they have those who will be the man in the relationship and the other will be the 'woman' in the relationship. Personally though it doesn't make a difference to me who is the man and who is the woman. The same goes for the lesbians too.

QUOTE
"Yuh better leave while you can. They have some lesbos inside of there. If you use the toilet, you could get Aids you know!"

I laughed some more. The person who said ignorance is bliss, probably was quite ignorant in some matters. It is difficult to imagine in this modern era, the information age I call it, that people are so ignorant on such things but you are right, people fear what they don't understand.

QUOTE
I disagree with the fact that women are more receptive to lesbians than homosexuals. Some of my friends have told me that they enjoy having a homosexual for a best friend than a female. For some odd reason, they claim that homosexuals are more understanding, sensitive and have better taste than heterosexuals.

I may have been a bit misunderstood here. I didn't mean they have more lesbian friends, I meant they quicker understand the concept, if you will, of lesbianism. Women are more emotional and more understanding as a whole. When women have a problem, they can call their friends at any hour and talk about it. Men go and drink beers to try to forget the problems, rather than solve it. Which also explains why women can have gay men as their best friend. Think about it, they will talk about the same things. Remember they will try to be as female as possible, even bettering a lot of women out there. That's why they design the best female clothes, they are the best makeup artists and they will dress you better than you can dress yourself for that hot date.

Oh I am glad that you enjoy my post, you made my day Geenie biggrin.gif

Why does having an interest in this mean someone is gay?

She didn't answer my question.

I may be single, does that mean somebody is gay? Are any of you or your friends single? Are they gay because of it?

Now, if she can answer my question now I've taken time to answer hers, why is making queries a sign of homosexuality?

I didnt know homosexuality was such a 'problem' down there. I'll be honest but I avoid homos I don't like the idea or the way they look talk. I mean don't get me wrong its not like I won't help someone that is gay, but its just that I wont choose gay friends.
