EBAY CAN CONTINUE USING 'BUY IT NOW' OPTION
A U.S. federal judge has denied a request from a small Virginia company to stop the online auction powerhouse eBay Inc. from using a feature that allows shoppers to purchase items at a fixed price.

The company had already received $25 million, for ebays infringement of using the 'buy it now' button, in my opinion, there's only so much money you can squeeze from a company for the same fault. I can see why the company was infuriated, but if it hadn't been ebay, some other company would have used it, simply for the simplicity of the words 'buy it now'. There's not really any other clearer words to describe the action that they are trying to get across!

I did not know that company has a copyright on that. Does that mean we can not go into a store that has a sign that reads buy it now because of copyright infringement? I think this company is just looking for a free meal ticket and needs to stop making such a fuss over all of it.
