Are you serious? Haven't you read about criminals that have been locked up for a long time and come out worst than before? Prison does not teach you to be a priest or a nun, it puts you with criminals worst than yourself sometimes and you learn all that they know.

In some ways if the baby didn't die then its worst because now he / she will live a life with some kind of damage, how does he plan to repay for that because jail time doesn't do it!

If you think about it it is not your problem for how he does repay for it. You can't decide his life for him or make his choices for you. I really do not see how your opinions make it seem any better let alone mine. Yes he probably did wrong IF HE DID EVEN DO THAT and will need to figure it out on his own. He does not have to be put to death or punished more. He is already doing time for it.

I cannot believe we still discussing if a man charged with (key word is charged, meaning the police FOUND EVIDENCE) with beating up HIS OWN NEWBORN BABY by shaking him violently, beating on his head and damaging his BRAIN, fracturing his right ulna, two ribs, lacerating the liver and bruising the baby's buttocks. have spent enough time in jail (6 years).

Sleuth is right, gelilutz17 needs HELP and psychological help because any average person will agree he has NOT spent enough time and won't be here justifying and rationalizing what this guy did, ONLY someone who probably was abused is UNABLE to see the SERIOUSNESS of this issue and even think about having a relationship with a child torturer.

Sorry, it is NOT normal to think or behave like this. I hope gelilutz17 follows Sleuth's advise.

Sorry but I am not fallowing any ones advice. My mind is made up and I know what I think and I know what I want as well as what I believe, and will do. I still do think he is a good guy just made a mistake no matter what.
