My goodness! Are these people for real? I am so sick tired to read stories like this one and what makes me even more mad is the fact that the mothers are never charged but they should! Because they obviously know the abuse these men are inflicting upon their children. SICK, SICK, SICK!

| A 25-year-old Sheboygan man was charged Wednesday for allegedly striking and throwing a 21-month-old girl when she wouldn't stop crying, leaving her critically injured. The toddler, who was hospitalized Saturday, remained in critical condition Wednesday afternoon at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee, according to the Sheboygan Police Department. Jerry A. Hilbelink, the boyfriend of the girl's mother, is being held on a $100,000 cash bond on two counts of felony physical abuse of a child that could land him in prison for up to 14 years if convicted, prosecutors said. A criminal complaint alleges Hilbelink slapped the girl in the back of the head Saturday afternoon and then dropped her two feet into a crib, causing her to strike her head on the railing. But another man who lived at the home told police the abuse was ongoing, reporting that Hilbelink had pushed, slapped and thrown the girl - and urged her 4-year-old brother to do the same - over the last two weeks, the complaint said. According to the complaint: Hilbelink, of 1207-A N. 17th St., was arrested Saturday after the girl's mother found her unresponsive four hours after the alleged abuse and brought her to the hospital. The toddler would not open her eyes, and her body was hot, her mouth was opening and closing and her right hand was shaking. Doctors discovered the girl had an acute subdural hematoma, meaning there was blood between her brain and skull on the left side of her head. There was also a bruise a quarter-inch across in the area. Hilbelink initially claimed the injuries were from the toddler falling down stairs, but admitted in an interview Monday that he had slapped the girl "pretty hard" in the back of the head when she would not stop crying. The incident occurred while the girl's mother was in the shower. After slapping the girl, Hilbelink said he dropped her in the crib, where she cried for a couple of seconds and went to sleep... |

I admit that I never had to take care of a baby full time but I just couldn't see my self hitting a baby and then throwing her across the room just because she was crying. The guy is a real monster and needs some treatment.

I can give him some 'treatment' I have plenty of nice little toys to use on him.
Yes I think he need to spend some time with Bubba in prison. Maybe our friend Bubba can teach him how to properly care for a little girl. I know my daughters cried at times but I did not hit them or drop them. They are both nice young ladies now. Only problem is they want my credit cards.
